Okay so I don't write many reviews, though I felt it necessary to write one now. First of all I am a coffee fiend. I love the stuff. From the scent of a freshly opened bag of roasted beans to the wispy creamy foam art and then that first sip when all but the coffee and this present moment is relevant. "This is the gourmet ****" This place is for real. Rare is it that I can find such a place in these parts of Colorado. Oh yeah, the food is simple and delicious and the staff friendly as they share the same passion as me. I look for Confluence to be a staple for sometime.

The coffee and smoothie were great. Would recommend as a nice stop for morning coffee or treat, on your bike ride up or down the valley or a place to have lunch.

Just got back to the valley for the summer and had coffee at the CONFLUENCE for the first time. New ownership of the old Saxy's. They have done a nice job with a remodel and have new blends of coffee.

Confluence is a terrific place to grab great coffee and fresh eats. It's the epicenter of Basalt.

I so enjoyed our girls trip here! The service was fantastic and everyone working was very knowledgeable about coffee in general as well as their coffee specifically. I can't have the caffeine currently but had a delicious hot chocolate which they had my favorite, dark chocolate.

Best coffee in the valley by far! This place used to be mediocre for years as Saxby's, but the new owner is very serious about great coffee - they use top-notch single-source beans from roasters around CO. All they need to add is pourovers (I hear they are coming soon) and it will be one of the best coffee shops in the state.

There was plenty of space to sit with options for a little solitude or more of a company atmosphere. I only wish we had more time to spend there today but I will definitely be returning.
