We purchased a home in Snowmass that had been partly decorated for staging by Cathers Home. We were so impressed with the furnishings and design work that we hired Cathers to complete the project. We are so happy that we did as It has been a pleasure to work with Denise and Amanda. They have a great design aesthetic and have presented us with options that take into consideration our style and our design budget. They work efficiently and are always responsive. Finally, they are also incredibly nice people and make this process enjoyable. Highly recommend.
We live out of state and had begun our relationship with Denise and the Cather’s staff via phone and email. Once we made a trip out to visit the showroom and meet Denise, we were immediately blown away. She got our design aesthetic down perfectly without even meeting us. That was so impressive! A true designer. She really listened to us and what we were wanting! Everything she showed us we loved and we recently got our first order of furniture in and are so happy with the end result. Very professional and extremely talented!
Their markup on almost every item purchased was hovering around 100% more then other brick and mortar stores and I was still suckered into paying a designer fee on top of outlandish price gouging. The Roaring Fork Valley has plenty of great options this sadly isn't one of them.
We wanted to refurnish a small room and also add some decor in our home. We had been into Cathers and liked their selection, but we aren't the best at decorating - so we needed help. We contacted Cathers to see if they could help us select pieces that would fit our space and our taste/comfort. Diane and her team happily agreed to help us! They came to our house and measured, they came up with ideas for furniture and decor, and we met at Cathers to view the selections. Everything went quickly and smoothly - and most of all, we loved everything that they suggested! The team at Cathers are friendly, knowledgeable and fun to work with. Plus, you are supporting a local small business - and a team that truly enjoys what they are doing. Oh, and a fun aside, we found out that the beautiful area rug we purchased was designed by the owner! How cool is that?!?
We worked with Denise and Amanda at Cathers to redesign the main living space in our modern home in Aspen. They were excellent - not only did they work with us to arrive at an overall plan that was exactly what we wanted, they suggested some great improvements that we would never have thought of. One big one was to install some hanging lights to lower the perceived ceiling and make the space more comfortable. They are very good at selecting furniture and fabrics, with access to many great producers that would be hard to find on your own. Finally, I really liked their collaborative style. On a few of the pieces we went back and forth quite a few times to find something just right - and in one case, we wound up buying from somebody else, which they were fine with. So overall, a very good experience.
