I own a condo in Willits and, thankfully, it comes with two underground parking spaces. Even with the current uses in the area there is OFTEN no parking anywhere. Why the heck is the new building going in on Market Street NOT going to have underground parking for all of the residential units? How much money is being spent to fill in the hole that was dug years ago? Has Basalt learned nothing from watching development in Aspen? The "Planning Department" seems like an oxymoron in Basalt. It is also my understanding that the Tree Farm has been approved with less than normal parking allotments. What are ya'll thinking, or aren't you?
