I want to be honest I would have loved to stay here I stay all over the country .I work for a moving company and drive a straight truck were in town moving a doctor to balsalt. I had made a reservation to stay here for the night it was really nice and also very close to the unload . anyway the gentleman I talked to said I should be able to park my box truck there . I had drove 10 hrs before I arrived there was no where to park at all with out blocking in other travelers .......the nice lady in the office tried to help me the best she could . after trying to find somewhere to park with out any luck we had no choice but to go somewhere else with parking .I really wanted to stay at balsalt mountain inn.it was by far the nicest place.by the time we found a different hotel I was exhausted .I had totally forgotten to call balsalt mountain inn to cancel the reservation.thay charged my credit card a 150 dollars any way even though they were a witness to me not being able to park there... I sure wish I could have stayed there. I hope all who stay enjoy them selves .
Newly renovated, yet stains all over the carpet. The rooms are quite large, but have paper thin walls. We could hear every footstep our "neighbors" above us took, including every item they dropped. I was sure they were going to fall through the ceiling. The front room had a nice sink, microwave, mini fridge and Keurig, but no soap or towels. A very strange place that I would not recommend.
Wonderful little hotel. The staff was great and very friendly. We had a small problem with the electronic keys and the lady at the front desk sorted it out super quick.
Our room was clean and a nice space. The community is a nice place to visit. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
