Free Range is a fantastic choice if you are in the area! The wine selection is excellent, and the sommelier with whom we spoke was very knowledgeable.
Had reservations at 7:30. Our table was given to a non reservation walk in so we had to wait until 8. No big deal. We’re asked to wait at the bar where for 20 minutes but could not get the attention of the bar tender so needless to say we didn’t get drinks. Table was finally ready at 8. Ordered the pork chops which they were out of so had to settle for the chicken with a side of baked beans. NASTY. The beans were undercooked and slightly crunchy. Oh yeah the sides were served 27 minutes before the entrees came out. After pulling fat and tendon out of my first 3 bites needless to say I was done. My wife ordered the steak sandwich and only ate half as the bum was soggy... By this time the sides were cold and the dinner was below average. This is a yuppy place to be seen in town. Not an eaters resteraunt ! The other issue is they hire all 18 year olds to look hip however the service suffers greatly
The dishes fall across many genres, though I'd call it mostly New-American fare. The burger and open-faced flank steak sandwich were delicious, and prepared perfectly!

Top notch across the board. Flip prepares outstanding, locally sourced seasonal dishes that blend high end class with rustic charm. His staff keeps the front of house lively and fun, and you might even catch a glimpse of a dance party in the open kitchen!
